Presidents' Day

The following is a list of closings and schedule changes for south Pinellas County on Monday for Presidents' Day.


Federal offices: Closed.

State offices: Open.

County offices: Open.

City offices: Belleair Beach, Gulfport, Kenneth City, Largo, St. Pete Beach, St. Petersburg, Seminole and South Pasadena offices will be closed. All other city offices will be open. City Hall in the Mall at Tyrone Square Mall will be open.

Post offices: Closed.


PSTA and DART: Regular schedule.

Public services

Banks: Closed.

Courts: In session.

Schools: Open.

Libraries: Indian Rocks Beach and Pinellas Park public libraries will be open. All other public libraries will be closed.

Garbage pick up in Largo: regular Monday pick up will be on Tuesday, regular Tuesday pick up will be on Wednesday. All other residential pick ups will be as usual. Residents who contract independently with BFI, Waste Management or another collection company should call the company for holiday schedule information.

Other closings: Facilities closed Monday include the Mahaffey Theater administrative offices, the Coliseum, Enoch Davis Adult Center, Boyd Hill Nature Park, Business Assistance Center, Municipal Services Center, St. Petersburg Police Community Resource Centers, City Utility Payment Center, Parking Citation Payment Office, Port of St. Petersburg administrative offices, Albert Whitted Airport administrative offices and the Sunshine Center. The Mahaffey Theater box office will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For water or sewer emergencies, call the Water Resources Department, 893-7261.

For police, fire or medical emergencies, dial 911.
