1972 STRIKE: 14 days, 86 games lost.
1973 LOCKOUT: 12 days, no games lost.
1976 LOCKOUT: 17 days, 0 games lost.
1980 STRIKE: Eight days, no games lost.
1981 STRIKE: 50 days, 712 games lost.
1985 STRIKE: Two days, no games lost.
1990 LOCKOUT: 32 days, no games lost.
1994-95 STRIKE: 232 days, 938 games and the 1994 playoffs lost.
NFL:
1970 STRIKE: Four days, no games lost
1982 STRIKE: 57 days, 98 games lost.
1987 STRIKE: 24 days, each team played one fewer game and three that included replacement players.
NBA:
1998-99 LOCKOUT: 191 days, 928 games lost.
NHL:
1992 STRIKE: 10 days, no games lost.
1994-95 LOCKOUT: 103 days, 468 games lost.
