The Florida State Fair is more than half over, but lots of thrills are still left, including three more Pepsi Armband Days, with unlimited rides for $20. Above, riders spin on the Feverball at the 2003 fair. Other fair specials include $6 admission today for those 55 and older and $5 Monday for all students, elementary through high school.

Headline entertainment includes the salute to Grand Ole Opry legends (with Leroy Van Dyke, Jim Ed Brown, Bobby Bare and more) today at 3 p.m. and the Newsboys at 6 p.m. Monday. Both concerts are in the Ford Amphitheatre; the legends show is $10 plus fair admission, the Newsboys $15-$20.

Gates open at 9 a.m. daily; midway rides open at 11 a.m. today and Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The fairgrounds is on U.S. 301 off Interstate 4, Tampa. Admission is $10 general, $5 ages 6 to 11. 813 621-7821; or
