The action began Feb. 13, with the first of five Sunday sessions running through March 13 at the Campo Family YMCA, 3414 Culbreath Road in Valrico.

At the end of the sessions, coaches will select an All-Star team to compete in the 37th International Small Fry Tournament at Disney World in Orlando at the end of March.

NBA players Nick Van Exel of the Portland Blazers and Kenny Anderson of the Atlanta Hawks got their start in Small Fry Basketball, as well as former NBA standouts Craig Hodges and Lloyd Walton.

The sessions each Sunday afternoon run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Parents can enroll a child before a session. Each session is $10 a child.

For more information, call Coach Klein at 363-9545.
