WHEN/WHERE: 3; Pete Maravich Center, Baton Rouge.
TV/RADIO: Ch. 38; 620-AM.
RECORD: UF - 16-6, 8-3 SEC; LSU - 14-8, 7-4.
COACHES: UF - Billy Donovan (185-90, ninth season; 220-110 overall), LSU - John Brady (134-100, eighth season, 223-177).
NOTABLE: The Gators are going for three straight wins, but LSU has won consecutive games in the series. Florida hasn't lost at the Pete Maravich Center since 1997. ... LSU is coming off a big win over Mississippi State and has only one loss in the past 12 home games. ... Florida will have its hands full with the frontcourt tandem of Brandon Bass and freshman Glenn Davis. Bass has a team-high 17.1 points per game and Davis, who is 6-9 and 310 pounds, is second in the SEC with 8.8 rebounds per game. "They (Gators) are playing very well right now and it will be a tremendous challenge for us to be in a position to win the game, even though we are at home," Brady said.
