Women: Triple-OT marathon ends with FSU on top

TALLAHASSEE - Roneeka Hodges had 23 points and Holly Johnson scored 7 of her 16 in the third overtime to lead Florida State to a 94-83 win over Virginia Tech on Saturday night.
The Hokies hit only one of their last five shots while the Seminoles hit six straight free throws down the stretch.
Dawn Chriss led Virginia Tech with 33 points and kept the Hokies in the game after regulation.
Ganiyat Adeduntan finished with 20 points and 14 rebounds for Florida State and hit free throws to force the first two overtimes.
UCF 81, CAMPBELL 40: Claudia Johnson led UCF with 18 points as the Golden Knights clinched the Atlantic Sun season title.
TAMPA 63, NOVA SOUTHEASTERN 51: Tay Mathis and Juanita McClinton led UT with 16 points each.
FLORIDA SOUTHERN 62, ECKERD 58: Lucresia West scored 21 points in the second half to lead Florida Southern past Eckerd. Qunisha Rush led Eckerd with 29.
LYNN UNIVERSITY 68, SAINT LEO 64: With 20 seconds remaining and the score tied at 64, junior Makina Waye stole an inbounds pass and scored for the win. Danielle Hoeffner led Saint Leo with 19.

83-GAME LOSING STREAK ENDS: Schreiner ended its NCAA-record losing streak at 83 games Saturday night, beating Sul Ross State 75-69 in Kerrville, Texas. Rachel Estrada led the Division III Mountaineers (1-24) with 18 points in their first win since Jan. 17, 2002, when they beat Sul Ross 65-62.
