WHEN/WHERE: 1:30; Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, Tallahassee.

TV/RADIO: Ch. 28; 1470-AM.

RECORDS: Georgia Tech 14-8, 5-6 ACC; FSU 11-14, 3-8.

COACHES: Georgia Tech - Paul Hewitt (90-62, fifth season; 156-89 overall). FSU - Leonard Hamilton (44-43, third season; 244-253).

NOTABLE: The Seminoles have lost five straight, beginning with a heartbreaker at Georgia Tech on Feb. 2. Guard Will Bynum hit a 3-pointer with 2.7 seconds left for the 64-61 win. Their chances to reach .500, the minimum to be considered for the NIT, are dwindling. Still, they have three of their last five regular-season games at home, where they are 8-5 and 2-3 in league play, and they have a trip to ACC cellar-dweller Clemson, too. ... The Yellow Jackets need to get hot down the stretch and that means getting one or two on the road. Trouble is, they are just 1-4 in league road games. But then only North Carolina and Wake Forest (4-2) have winning records in road league games. ... Said Hewitt: "We are probably one of those teams that come March, nobody's going to want to play or nobody's going to have to play." ... FSU leads the series 28-24.
