NOTABLE: This is the 45th meeting between the schools, with Florida holding a 28-17 advantage, including eight consecutive wins and 12 of the past 13. Florida has won three straight in Columbia, but the Gamecocks have been hard to beat at home this season. They are 12-2, with their only losses to Auburn and Clemson. Two Tampa natives start for the Gamecocks. Junior guard Tarence Kinsey is averaging 9.2 points and 3.4 rebounds, and sophomore forward Renaldo Balkman averages six points and 4.9 rebounds.
