A guide for flirting
www.sirc.org/publik/flirt.html
Try to describe flirting in a few words. A lot of us know how to flirt, but can't put into words exactly what it is. Well, tarry no more. This site does a rip-roaring job of going through the mechanics of flirting and offers advice on opening lines. It's a bit of a haul but a really good read.
A numbers game

Time, it seems, may well ebb and flow like a tide if some of these theories are correct. A healthy dose of skepticism is recommended before you dive into these articles. One suggests a black box that crunches numbers can predict the future, and the second is a project that collects data from what it calls random event generators. Yes, it sounds like science fiction, but read on.
Free works

There seem to have been a slew of photo-related free libraries springing up. Or maybe I've just been recently turned on to them. What's been missing from my life, until now, has been decent quality clip art, something that's purposely not photorealistic. Chances are you'll be thrilled with many of the freebies that are just a download away.
They're talking about us

What the rest of the world thinks of us as a nation fascinates me. In addition to grazing on the national news feeds, I try to read nonfiltered foreign news. Alas, I speak English and a smattering of French, which isn't going to get me very far. So it was with great delight that I discovered this site. It's a collection of news sources translated from their native tongue into English. Sources include newspapers in Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Russia.
Park it

Gosh, getting a batch of these stickers is so, so tempting. The wonderful thing about rude, clueless people is that they tend not to notice their surroundings. So slapping a bumper sticker on their car that says "I park like an idiot" could mean the thing would live there for weeks before the offender noticed. I'm going to guess that sticking something on somebody else's property borders on the illegal. But at the very least you can chuckle at both the concept and the photos on this site.
