Open & shut

CLOSING: Roadhouse Grill, a steak and sandwich grill at 13151 N Dale Mabry Highway, has closed.

ALSO CLOSED: Hops Restaurant had closed for remodeling, to reopen as Hops Grillhouse and Brewery. Avado Foods, the company that owns Hops and Don Pablo's Mexican Kitchen, declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy in February and closed 15 Hops and 4 Don Pablo's locations across the country, including the one at 10042 N Dale Mabry Highway. They were known for their buttered croissant appetizer and for their microbrew beers Hammerhead Red and Alligator Ale.

FURNITURE: Home Essentials Furniture and Decor has opened at 15441 N Dale Mabry Highway. Featuring fine furniture including couches, chairs, mirrors and tables. Hours are Saturday-Thursday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3-6 p.m. Call (813) 269-7970.
