Face it. Finding that just right, hot today, one-of-a-kind prom dress or tuxedo is sometimes hard to do. It might be better to just make it yourself. Well, Duck brand duct tape thinks you can make your own prom fashions - using duct tape. And the company will give you a $5,000 scholarship if you win the fifth annual Stuck at Prom Scholarship Contest. The contest gives couples the opportunity to win a $5,000 scholarship - $2,500 each - for attending the prom dressed in duct tape duds. The high school hosting the prom also wins $2,500. To enter the contest, which kicks off today, go to www.ducktapeclub.com for official rules and a contest form. Online entries can be submitted at the Duck tape Web site or by mail to Stuck at Prom Contest, c/o Henkel Consumer Adhesives Inc., 32150 Just Imagine Drive, Avon, OH 44011-1355. Photos and entries must be received by June 10. And you can vote online from June 17 to 26 for your favorite couple.
I said no!
When Britney Spears says it is her prerogative, maybe she means it's her prerogative not to sign autographs. At least that's according to the 13th annual Autograph Collector magazine poll of worst and best celebrity signers. Spears tops the list of worst signers, followed by Cameron Diaz, Tobey Maguire (Spider-Man), Justin Timberlake, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Leonardo DiCaprio, Eminem, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston (when they were a couple), Halle Berry and Paris Hilton. Johnny Depp was voted the best celebrity signer, followed by Tom Cruise, Mike Myers, Angelina Jolie, Elijah Wood, Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson, Hilary Duff and Charlize Theron. The results can be found in the March issue of Autograph Collector.
