SEC men's tournament

WHEN/WHERE: Today-Sunday, Georgia Dome, Atlanta.
FAVORITES: Kentucky and Alabama. Forget Kentucky's last-second loss to Florida on Sunday. Kentucky dominated conference play, losing only to the Gators and at South Carolina. It has won 25 tournament titles, played in 33 finals and is 105-17 in the tournament. Alabama is the SEC West co-champion but was inconsistent, winning big, then losing games it was favored in. But if Kennedy Winston and Earnest Shelton get on a roll, the Tide could be hard to beat.
DARK HORSES: LSU. At 12-4 and co-champion of the West, LSU is the biggest surprise in the league, and perhaps the most underrated team in the tournament. LSU has won eight of 10, but barring a Kentucky upset, it would have to get get past the Wildcats to make it to the championship game.
