The Baseball Hall of Fame comes to town this Sunday when former major leaguers Wade Boggs, Whitey Ford, Dennis Eckersley, Orlando Cepeda and Harmon Killebrew will be signing autographs at International Plaza.

Three autograph sessions at Champs Sporting Goods in the mall will benefit the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association. Tickets for the signings will go on sale at 11 a.m. outside the store.

Eckersley and Cepeda will appear from noon to 1:30 p.m. Killebrew, a member of the 500 home run club, will sign from 1 to 2 p.m. Ford and Boggs, who was recently elected to the Hall of Fame, will sign from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

Autograph fees for Boggs are $50 for flat items, $60 for baseballs and $90 for jerseys and bats. All Killebrew items will be $50 except for jerseys and bats, which will be $125. Ford, Cepeda and Eckersley will sign flat items for $45, $50 for balls and $60 for bats and jerseys. A $15 fee will be added for inscriptions, including names, dates and numbers. No checks will be accepted, and there will be a 300 signature limit per player.

The signings are part of the MLBPAA's Baseball for Kids weekend, benefiting the children's programs at All Children's Hospital and the alumni association.

The weekend will begin Saturday when more than 50 former major league players will attend a dinner and auction at the A La Carte Event Pavilion, 4050 Dana Shores Drive. On Sunday, there will be a youth baseball clinic and "Legends" game at Bright House Network Field in Clearwater, 601 N Old Coachman Road. A golf tournament Monday at the Avila Country Club is sold out.
