A VIDEO OF TCHAIKOVSKY'S "QUEEN OF SPADES' will be shown at 12:30 p.m. today at the Centennial Library, 5740 Moog Road, Holiday. The 1999 production by the Metropolitan Opera features Placido Domingo, Galina Gorchakova and Elizabeth Soderstrom. Admission is free.
"SUGAR BABIES,' a tribute to burlesque, continues through April 3 at the Show Palace Dinner Theatre, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. Shows are at 8 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and March 17, 24 and 31; 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and most Saturdays; and 3 p.m. Sundays. Doors open two hours before each show for buffet and cash bar. "KEEP ON THE SUNNY SIDE,' the songs and story of the Carter Family, will be performed by Barter Theatre Touring Company at 8 p.m. today at Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center, 324 Pine St., Tarpon Springs. The Carter Family sang old-time mountain, folk and gospel styles. Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for students and center members. Call 942-5605.
THE SUNCOAST SAMPLER TASTING FEAST will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Gulf View Square in New Port Richey. More than 21 restaurants from Pasco and Hernando counties will serve samples of their specialties at the event, which is a fundraiser for the Pasco-Hernando Community College Foundation. Some of the participants are Barnie's Coffee & Tea, Chili's, Chocolates by Michelle, Granma's Candy Kitchen, Maximilian's German Restaurant, Mel's Diner, Mike's Dockside, Saint Sebastiaan Belgian Microbrewery and the WingHouse. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Advance tickets are available at the mall information center.
THE NATURE COAST FESTIVAL SINGERS will perform music ranging from classical to contemporary at 7 p.m. Monday at the Forest Oaks Lutheran Church, 8555 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill.
THE FILM "DIALOGUES WITH MADWOMEN' will be shown at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Pasco-Hernando Community College Performing Arts Center, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. The film, which is about women suffering from mental illness, will be followed by a panel discussion. The presentation is part of PHCC's partnership with the New Port Richey Library's Human Rights Video Project. Admission is free.
"CURB YOUR BLUES @ THE LIBRARY' will be presented by the Radio Disney Fun Squad at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hudson Regional Library, 8012 Library Road off Fivay Road, Hudson. Disney cast members will play with and read to children; Pasco Recycling will tell them easy recycling tips. There will be a book swap (take old books to trade), plus tours of a fire truck, an ambulance and the new fire rescue trailer with safety advice.

THREE ARTISTS will be honored at the opening of the new exhibit at the Progress Energy Art Gallery from 5 to 9 p.m. today. The artists are surrealistic painter Carey Yaskovic; superhero, fantasy artist Ralph Annan; and ceramic maskmaker Patty Reeves. The exhibit is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. The gallery is at 6231 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey.
"ARTBEAT 2005,' AN EXHIBIT of art by Pasco high school students, continues through April 1 at the Pasco Arts Center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
THE "ALL MEDIA INVITATION ART AND FLOWER SHOW' continues through April 1 at the West Pasco Art Guild, 6206 Jefferson St., New Port Richey. The gallery is open 1 to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
LEEPA-RATTNER MUSEUM OF ART will have a dual exhibit by Vietnamese/American conceptual artist Hoang Van-Bui and area high school students under his direction from Sunday through April 24 at the museum, 600 Klosterman Road, Tarpon Springs. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and students. The exhibit is free on Sunday to everyone.
