Brian D. Evans has been named regional director for CFO Strategic Partners' new satellite office in downtown Tampa. Evans was senior vice president and manager of a specialty lending group for SunTrust Bank's commercial banking unit in Tampa.

Chet Helck has been named chairman of the public trust and confidence committee for the Securities Industry Association. Helck is president and chief operating officer of Raymond James Financial, St. Petersburg.

Dr. Catherine Chodkiewicz has been named a medical oncologist in the gastrointestinal tumor program at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, Tampa. Chodkiewicz was associate director, clinical oncology at U.S. Astra Zeneca for its IRESSA breast program in Wilmington, Del.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Joanna Switzer has been promoted to director of the interior design division of Collman & Karsky Architects, Tampa. Switzer was an interior designer.

Charles H. Carver has been elected to a second term as vice president of public affairs for the Florida Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and was elected first vice president of NAIOP's Tampa Bay Chapter. Carver is a shareholder and a lead lawyer in the real estate practice group, and serves on the management committee at the law firm of Ward Rovell, Tampa.
Richard A. Jacobson has been elected to the International Programs Advisory Board at the University of Florida's Levin College of Law. Jacobson is a shareholder and a member of the international practice group at the law firm of Fowler White Boggs Banker, Tampa.
