WEDNESDAY: Labor Department reports on Consumer Price Index for February; National Association of Realtors reports on existing home sales for February; trustees of the Social Security program issue their annual report on the status of the program.

THURSDAY: Commerce Department reports on durable goods orders for February and new home sales for February; rescheduled sentencing of Adelphia Communications founder John Rigas and his son, Timothy, who were convicted last year of looting more than $100-million from Adelphia.

FRIDAY: New York International Automobile Show begins; many financial markets around the world, including U.S. markets, are closed for Good Friday.
