Tax help offered through April 15

Free tax preparation and assistance will be offered through April 15, sponsored by IRS, AARP and in cooperation with the United Way Prosperity Campaign for households with low to moderate incomes with an emphasis on the elderly.

Bring Social Security cards for all persons listed on the tax returns and all pertinent records, such as W2s and 1099s. Also bring a copy of last year's return if available.

The sites:

Largo Library, 351 East Bay Drive, 1 to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday; 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday

St Jerome Catholic Church, 10895 Hamlin Blvd., Largo, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday

Wachovia Bank, 1180 Jasper St W, Largo, Hours: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday (paper prepared returns only)

AmSouth Bank, 655 South Belcher Rd., Clearwater, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday

Clearwater East Branch Library, 2251 Drew St., 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday

RCS Food Pantry, 700 Druid Rd., Clearwater, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday (paper prepared returns only)

St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Colreavy Hall, 820 Jasmine Way, Clearwater, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday

Top of The World Rec Center, 2069 World Pkwy Blvd., Clearwater, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
