Wendy South, of St. Petersburg, weeps while politely discussing differences of perspective with a supporter of the Schindler family. South says she supports Michael Schiavo's efforts to carry out what he says are his wife's wishes. "I've had friends who have been younger than Terri was when this happened to her and their parents had to pull them off life support, and it's absolutely devastating," she said. "Really I know in my heart of hearts really deep down, I just know that if Terri could speak I just have this very strong suspicion she would say, 'Mom, Dad, please stop this thing, this parade, this mess'."
