Maroon 5 comes to town

You've probably heard the group's songs, especially This Love, all over the radio, VH1 and MTV: This love has taken its toll on me/ She said Goodbye too many times before/ And her heart is breaking in front of me/ I have no choice 'cause I won't say goodbye anymore. Maybe you saw the group walk away with the best new artist Grammy in February, the one Kanye West expected to take home. Now you can catch Maroon 5 live. The quintet plays the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa tonight. The Donnas open. The show starts at 7:30. $35. (813) 301-2500.Famous voices for Easter

Most church choirs only dream of these kinds of voices. The Without Walls International Church will feature Motown great Patti LaBelle, country queen Loretta Lynn, contemporary gospel singer Fred Hammond and country newcomer Josh Turner at its Easter service at 9 a.m. Sunday. To accommodate the crowds, the service will be held at the St. Pete Times Forum. Free. (813) 879-4673.

Egg hunts get cracking

Old Peter Cottontail is going to be a busy guy this weekend. Some of the bigger Easter egg hunts around the area, all free, include: Gulfport SpringFest and Easter Egg Hunt, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, with the hunt at 10 a.m. along the Gulfport waterfront; Eggstravaganza!, by WWRM-FM 94.9 and the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, 9-11 a.m. Saturday on the center's grounds, downtown Tampa. (813) 229-7827 or toll-free 1-800-955-1045; Beta Sigma Phi Easter Egg Hunt, 9 a.m. Saturday, England Brothers Bandshell, 5121 80th Ave. N, Pinellas Park. (727) 347-6960; and Coachman Park Easter Egg Hunt, 12:30 p.m. Sunday with other activities until 2, Drew and Cleveland streets, Clearwater. (727) 692-8535.

Baseball opportunities

Spring training is winding down. The four Major League teams that train in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties all have home games this weekend, including a visit by the champion Boston Red Sox (though that game is sold out). The Tampa Bay Devil Rays play the Pittsburgh Pirates today and the Red Sox on Saturday at Progress Energy Park in St. Petersburg. The New York Yankees take on the Houston Astros on Sunday at Legends Field in Tampa. The Toronto Blue Jays host the Atlanta Braves today and the Detroit Tigers, Sunday at Knology Park in Dunedin. And the Philadelphia Phillies play the Yankees today and the Cincinnati Reds on Sunday at Bright House Networks Field in Clearwater. All games are at 1:05 p.m. except those at Legends Field. They start at 1:15.
