Presley dishes scoop on marriage to Jackson
So what does Lisa Marie Presley think about her marriage to Michael Jackson way back when? "Holy mother of God" was her response on Monday's The Oprah Winfrey Show. Presley, 37, told Winfrey she was naive when she met Jackson and that he snowed her over and she wanted to help him with his problems. They were married from 1994 to 1996.
"Do you think that he loved you as much as he could?" Winfrey asked.
"Yes, as much as he was capable of loving somebody," Presley said.
Weather Channel looking for celebrity hosts
Maybe news of a rainy weekend, oppressive heat or a looming hurricane would sound better coming from a movie star.
The Weather Channel said this week it is looking for music, television, movie and stage stars to do guest weather forecasts at the cable channel's Atlanta studios.
"Celebrities and guests will be interviewed on camera in a taped segment that will air several times throughout the broadcast day," the cable outlet said this week.
Announcing the new program, Weather Channel vice president Terry Connelly said that viewers have enjoyed seeing guest weathercasters in the past and that TV and film stars have revealed a "secret desire" to broadcast the weather. No star appearances were immediately announced.
