Can someone please inform me where the Montreal Expos have been led out of the darkness to? Washington? A place where the fan base is uncertain and where they're going to be playing in RFK stadium and the financial future of a new stadium is unsure.
And while we're talking about baseball markets, let's talk about how Red Sox fans judge Tampa Bay, seeing as how we've never had an above .500 team or a team that competed for a wild-card spot. Does anyone from Boston need to be reminded of the days when the Red Sox stunk and no one was in the stands to smell it?
And let's look at the winning streak the Rays had last year and think about the 25,000 people in the stands.
