Memorial masses for Pope John Paul II have been scheduled throughout the Roman Catholic Diocese of St. Petersburg, which serves 398,702 Catholics in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Citrus, Hernando and Pasco counties. Services are as follows:
MONDAY
7:30 P.M.: Bishop Robert N. Lynch will celebrate Mass at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, 5030 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill. The service will be broadcast live on Spirit WBVM-FM 90.5 and 88.3.
7 P.M.: Mass in English, St. Clement Catholic Church, 1104 N Alexander St., Plant City.
7 P.M.: St. Cecelia Catholic Church, 820 Jasmine Way, Clearwater.
7 P.M.: St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1376 Snell Isle Blvd. NE, St. Petersburg.
7 P.M.: St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 715 E Orange St., Tarpon Springs.
7:30 P.M.: St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 8320 Old County Road 54, New Port Richey.
7:30 P.M.: Memorial Mass in the main church at Christ the King Catholic Church, 821 S Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. Eucharistic Adoration will be held through the election of the new pope at the following times: weekdays from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., except during the 12:10 p.m. daily Mass. Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
ALSO: All Saints Catholic Church, 2801 Curlew Road, Clearwater, will honor the memory of Pope John Paul II at every 8 a.m Mass starting today through the nine days of mourning.
