Holiday Utilities customers advised to boil their water

By Times Staff Writer
Published April 8, 2005

HOLIDAY - U.S. Water Services issued a boil water notice Thursday for all customers of Holiday Utilities, which serves the Westwood subdivision and Anclote Village.

A previously repaired break in the pipes ruptured again Thursday afternoon, creating a loss of water pressure that could allow bacteria to breed in the stagnant water. Crews fixed the break, but as a precaution, customers should bring their water to a rolling boil for a minute before drinking or cooking with it.
