The Super Y-League North American Finals, a premier boys and girls event and the United Soccer Leagues' marquee tournament, is coming to Tampa's Ed Radice Soccer Complex and the USF recreation fields on Nov. 17-22, the USL and Tampa Bay Sports Commission announced Monday.
The USL's annual general meeting, which includes more than 300 team owners and executives, also will be here Oct.29-31 as part of the inaugural SoccerFest.
"Heading into our 10th year with our headquarters in Tampa and our 20th overall, there could be no more fitting place to hold the USL SoccerFest," USL president and founder Francisco Marcos said in a statement.
Between the meetings and tournament, organizers expect about 5,000 people.
"This announcement will have a tremendous economic and social impact on our incredible soccer community," Sports Commission executive director Rob Higgins said.
