Three charged with making drug

By Times Staff Writer

TAMPA - Three people living at an extended stay hotel near Town 'N Country have been arrested on methamphetamine drug charges, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

Rickey Keith Rice, 31, Barry Todd Glover, 41, and Cynthia Michelle Collins, 29, were residents at the Suburban Extended Stay Hotels at 6902 W Hillsborough Ave. All three were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. Glover and Collins each received an additional charge of trafficking in methamphetamine, deputies said. Rice remained at the Orient Road jail Tuesday in lieu of $9,500 bail. Glover and Collins remained there without bail, records showed.

Someone phoned in a tip to the Sheriff's Office, and narcotics detectives, along with Drug Enforcement Administration agents, investigated. In Room 234 on Monday, they found equipment to manufacture the illegal substance and residue, sheriff's officials said. Jail records show that police previously arrested Glover and Collins in February for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
