Church lauded as welcoming

By Times Staff Writer
Published April 20, 2005

For the second year in a row, Allendale United Methodist Church, 3803 Haines Road N, St. Petersburg, has been recognized by United Methodist Communications as an official "Welcoming Congregation."

The recognition program is part of a larger effort launched in late 2000 to use modern technology and the common language of television to spread the good news of Christ.
