HIGHWAYMEN ART: The Highwaymen art exhibit continues through Wednesday at the Old Courthouse Heritage Museum, 1 Courthouse Square, Inverness. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Free admission.

LOOK AHEAD

FESTIVAL: The Crystal River Friendship Festival, a neighborhood arts and crafts festival, will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 29 to May 1 at Crystal Isles, 11419 W Fort Island Trail, Crystal River. The event features arts and crafts, live entertainment Friday night and Saturday afternoon, ice cream, barbecue and other foods. Call 795-3774.

HOSPITAL CONCERT: Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness is sponsoring a concert in observance of National Hospital Week at 2 p.m. May 14 at Curtis Peterson Auditorium at Lecanto High School. The concert will be themed as "Salute To Our Community" and features the New Dawn Singers. Tickets are $17 for open seating or $20 for reserved seating, available in the CMH SHARE Club/Public Relations office, at Grace Street and Osceola Avenue in Inverness on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 344-6513.

QUICK TRIP

ON THE WING: The Chinsegut Nature Center will have its "Welcome Back Songbirds" Earth Day celebration from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdayat the center, on Lake Lindsey Road north of Brooksville. Daylong activities include wildlife walks, nature lectures and exhibits, demonstrations, a birdhouse-building clinic, a bird-calling contest and puppet shows. The event is free.
