Opera Tampa's lineup for next season

Opera Tampa opens its 2005-06 season with the tried and true, Bizet's Carmen, on Dec. 2 and 4, with Anton Coppola conducting.
The company continues its collaboration with Orlando Opera, whose production of Aida is being presented this weekend at Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, with Donizetti's The Elixir of Love on Feb. 17 and 19. Puccini's The Girl of the Golden West, with Coppola in the pit, concludes the season March 31 and April 2. There's also a recital by soprano Kathleen Battle on Jan. 14.
