Cadet Matthew Lee Green, son of Donna and Ron Green of St. Pete Beach, has been named to the dean's list for the third consecutive semester at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. He plans to graduate from West Point in 2006 and be commissioned a second lieutenant. He is a 2002 graduate of Seminole High School.

David Anthony O'Brien, son of Natalie and Tony O'Brien of Seminole, has been accepted to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, Conn. He plans to graduate from the St. Petersburg High School International Baccalaureate program in May and report to the academy in June.

Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Michael P. Houle, son of Patricia A. and Michael R. Houle of Seminole, has completed the Electro-Optical Ordnance Repairer Course at the Army Ordnance Center and School, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. He is a 2004 graduate of Osceola High School.

Navy Seaman Recruit Robert N. Manley Jr., son of Teresa D. and Robert N. Manley of Gulfport, has completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. He is a 2004 graduate of Boca Ciega High School.
