EDUCATION BREAKFAST: Schools superintendent Earl Lennard will update the public on Hillsborough County schools, and other speakers will address redistricting and state-funded prekindergarten programs. The breakfast starts at 8 a.m. at Armwood High School, 12000 U.S. 92, Seffner. Tickets are $10 for nonmembers of the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce. Call 689-1221.

CELEBRITY ART: The Tampa Audubon Society hosts a night of fundraising and dancing with an auction. Notables such as Carl Hiaasen, Leonardo DiCaprio, Susan Sarandon, and many award-winning artists have donated their work for auction. "Flock Around the Dock" starts at 7 p.m. at the Florida Aquarium, 701 Channelside Drive, Tampa. Lounge Cat provides the music. Call 630-7367.

SATURDAY

DINNER THEATER: MurderS She Wrote Inc., presents Last Will and TestaMint, a"murder mystery comedy" set in the '50s, '60s, and '70s. Curtain is at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Tampa Riverwalk Hotel, 200 N Ashley St. Choice of chicken piccata or grilled salmon after the opening act. Tickets are $46. Call 727-7012.

BRANDON HIGH REUNION: The 2005 Grand Reunion is open to all Brandon High School graduates. Cost is $5, free to former faculty. Bring a covered dish from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to McLane Middle School cafeteria, 306 Knights Ave. Don't forget your camera and old yearbooks. Call 689-8901.

VOCAL RECITAL: Mezzo soprano Sarah Davis performs a concert of classical and popular selections as a fundraiser. Davis, 18, will attend the prestigious Operafestival di Roma in June with fellow Brandon native Kaci Alfonso for a month of training in voice and opera. Money raised at the performance raises will help pay for the trip and allows neighbors to hear a budding talent. It starts at 7 p.m. at Bloomingdale Oaks Community Church, 1653 E Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico. Tickets are $15. Call 689-8793.
