Area offers variety of theatrical choices
Enjoy the Pulitzer Prize-winning Crimes of the Heart, give the children a treat or feast on the comedy Greater Tuna.

The comedy Greater Tuna opens Thursday and runs through June 12 at Playhouse 19, Crystal River.
Greater Tuna is a comedy by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard, and will be directed by Lisa Ehlers.
The two-person play features David Easter and Sam Nall. The two actors portray 20 residents of the third smallest town in Texas, complete with wacky characterizations and quick costume changes.
Show times are Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for students and may be obtained at the box office at 865 U.S. 19 N (N Suncoast Boulevard) in Crystal River. Box office hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call the box office at 563-1333 for information and reservations.

Honk continues weekends through May 29 at Richey Suncoast Theatre, 6237 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. The show is based on the Hans Christian Andersen tale The Ugly Duckling. The Missoula Children's Theater will present three children's classics this summer at Ocala Civic Theatre.
Performances of Robin Hood are scheduled for 7 p.m. June 17 and at 2:15 and 7 p.m. June 18. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for full-time students on sale Monday .

The Wizard of Oz will be performed at 7 p.m. July 29 and at 2:15 and 7 p.m. July 30. Tickets will go on sale July 5 at $6 for adults and $4 for full-time students.
Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella will be performed at 7 p.m. July 21 and 22; 2:15 and 7 p.m. July 23; and 2:15 p.m. July 24. Tickets will go on sale June 27 at $12 for adults and $6 for full-time students.
