LECANTO - Dennis Miller, the executive director of the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce, has been named general manager of WYKE-Ch. 47.

Miller will oversee day-to-day operations and programming of the local, low-powered, digital TV station, which can be found on channel 16 on local cable systems. The nonprofit station, which the Key Training Center owns, provides about 10 hours of local programming each day, with the remainder dedicated to the faith-based FamilyNet network. Miller's experience includes broadcasting manager positions at several local radio stations; he has been executive director for the chamber the past four years.
