YOUTH THEATER: Get your kids into drama early with the Carrollwood Players Theater by Young People's production of Disney's Aladdin, Jr. Auditions will be Sunday at the Carrollwood Playhouse, 4333 Gunn Highway. The characters from the Disney hit are all involved, including Aladdin, Jasmine, Jafar and the Genie. The players are looking for six boys and five girls, ages 13-18, plus a chorus. Come prepared with your own song and music. There will be a $25 registration fee for anyone cast. Show dates are Aug. 12-21. Call (813) 265-4000.

FREE CONCERT: 2004 American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino will play a free concert with gospel and praise singer Fred Hammond at 7 p.m. Saturday at the USF Sun Dome, 4202 E Fowler Ave. The event is sponsored by Without Walls International Church of Tampa. SIDE SPLITTERS: Aside from playing comedy clubs across the country, comedian Greg Hahn has appeared on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Cedric the Entertainer Presents. He takes his high-energy, highly physical antics to Side Splitters Comedy Club this weekend, 12938 N Dale Mabry Highway. Shows are 8 and 10:30 p.m. today and Saturday, and 7 p.m. Sunday.
