St. Petersburg police investigating overnight homicide

Police are investigating a fatal shooting outside the Pinellas Point Apartments.

ST. PETERSBURG - A St. Petersburg man was killed early Monday morning in the parking lot of Pinellas Point Apartments, police said.

Police said they responded to a call at 2:14 a.m., to find Antonio Roberts, 20, who lived in the apartments at 2125 62nd Place S, lying in the parking lot with multiple gun shot wounds.

Police said Roberts may have been involved in a dispute earlier in the evening, but were still investigating the shooting. No further details were available.
