Lester Edward Bullock II, son of Jo-Ann and Lester Bullock of St. Petersburg, has been accepted to the Early Commissioning Program at Marion Military Institute in Marion, Ala. He is a 2005 graduate of Dixie Hollins High School, where he was a member of the Junior ROTC program for four years.

Brian Alan Dykens, son of Debra and Brad Dykens of St. Petersburg, has been accepted to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, Conn. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Boca Ciega High School's Center for Wellness and Medical Professions. He plans to report to the academy in June.

Marine Corps Pfc. Jason A. Coffee, son of Viki D. and Ronald W. Coffee of Pinellas Park, has completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. He is a 2004 graduate of Gibbs High School.

Navy Seaman Jeffrey M. Kors, son of Virginia E. Kors of St. Petersburg, has completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

The following recruits have graduated from the Basic Hospital Corps School at Naval Hospital Corps School, Great Lakes, Ill.:
Navy Hospitalman Apprentice Michael Fuchs, son of Erica Fulton of St. Petersburg.
Navy Hospitalman Apprentice Chris M. Rodriguez, son of Cynthia Rodriguez of Seminole and a 2004 graduate of Gaither High School, Tampa.
