All-Pinellas girls tennis

PLAYER OF THE YEAR: Lindsay Dvorak, Fr., St. Petersburg. Undefeated in regular season and helped the Green Devils capture their second straight district title; won district titles in singles and doubles; advanced to second round of regions in singles and state semifinals in doubles.

COACH OF THE YEAR: Alan Turnquist, St. Petersburg


MORGAN BASIL, 7TH GRADE, SHORECREST: Finished regular season 14-0; won district and region; unable to compete at state because of illness.

RACHEL SILVERBERG, JR., ADMIRAL FARRAGUT: Only loss in singles came to Basil in the regular season and the district final; reached state quarterfinals in doubles with Laura Ladd.

TARA VAFADARI, SO., EAST LAKE: Only losses of season came to Lindsey Dvorak, including the district final; beat the No. 2 seed, Amanda Yogus of Seminole, to advance to district final.

CAITLEIN JAMMO, JR., ST. PETERSBURG: Won districts as No. 2 player for the Green Devils and won doubles with Dvorak; reached state semifinals in doubles.

ASHLEY HUNGERFORD, SO., COUNTRYSIDE: Won second straight district title with 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1.
