Apartments, townhomes planned in Citrus Park

By Times Staff Writer

CITRUS PARK - There could be another multifamily development headed to Citrus Park.

Atlanta-based Post Properties, a national residential developer with upscale complexes in Tampa, recently announced plans to build 210 apartments and 100 townhomes on 16.7 acres north of the Publix on Ehrlich Road. Post would not comment, but a press release says the company hopes to begin construction late this year or early next.

And 72 townhomes could begin sprouting this summer south of Ehrlich Road off Gunn Highway. The local developer, Scott Doster, said he has sold more than 50 of them so far.
