Notebook: Festival recounts Stanley Cup victory

CHANNEL DISTRICT - Relive the Tampa Bay Lightning's historic Stanley Cup championship at Stanfest: The One Year Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday at the St. Pete Times Forum, 401 Channelside Drive.
The all-day festival begins at 11 a.m. with a free barbecue lunch in Chrysler/Jeep Plaza. Enjoy live entertainment, locker room tours and a memorabilia auction to benefit the Lightning Foundation.
All eight trophies, including the Stanley Cup won by the Lightning in 2004, will be on display.
Doors to the Forum open at 5 p.m. for season ticketholders and 6:30 p.m. for the public. A replay of Game 7 for the Stanley Cup begins at 8 p.m. The first 5,000 fans to enter the Forum will receive a free copy of the Lightning's Championship DVD and Thundersticks.

Wellness centers observe milestone
DOWNTOWN - The Downtown YMCA Wellness Center is celebrating more than 20 years of service to the downtown community with a week of festivities Monday-June 11.
Visitors will receive door prizes, including workout towels, shower towels, T-shirts and food from Great Harvest Bread on Monday through Thursday. Enjoy chair massages from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. On June 11, the Fort Brooke Family Fun 5K Run, Walk, Jog or Bike begins at 8 a.m.

R&B/Jazz ensemble performs Saturday
HISTORIC YBOR - DELTA Inc., a nonprofit corporation, presents Summer Jazz featuring Five Men on a Stool at 6 p.m. Saturday at Centro Asturiano de Tampa, 1913 N Nebraska Ave.
Five Men on a Stool, an Atlanta contemporary R&B/Jazz ensemble, blends music and spoken word for an unusual performance.

Garden club fundraiser scheduled this evening
BAYSHORE GARDENS - The Tampa Garden Club hosts its annual fundraiser, "Vineyard by the Bay," to preserve green space along Bayshore Boulevard.
Visit the garden club, 2629 Bayshore Blvd., from 7 to 10 p.m. today for a wine tasting, hors d'oeuvres, music and auctions.
