Retired admiral to speak in Tampa

Having problems managing change in your workplace?

Listen to a man who oversaw major organizational and technological shifts during his career in the military.

Adm. James O. Ellis Jr., recently retired commander of the U.S. Strategic Command, will speak Thursday at a breakfast meeting sponsored by Tampa Bay Technology Forum and the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.

Ellis was in charge during the merger of U.S. Strategic Command's major organizations with U.S. Space Command. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and has a master's degree in aerospace engineering and aeronautical systems.

The session, part of the Titans of Technology business series, is from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at A La Carte Event Pavilion, 4050 Dana Shores Drive, Tampa. Cost is $25 a person. Online registration is available at www.tampachamber.com
