The Carrollwood Players are going to be busy in the coming weeks. First, stage hopefuls can audition for the British farce Move Over, Mrs. Markham at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday. The play, by Ray Cooney and John Chapman, is about three sets of lovers who accidentally plot to use the same place to carry on their affairs. They all converge on the same room, and hilarity ensues through attempts to cover up their misdeeds.

The Players are seeking four men and five women of various ages who can speak with a British accent. Monologues are requested but not required. They are also looking for backstage personnel, including stage crew, prop, lighting and costume people. Performances will be Sept. 9 through Oct. 1.

The Players are also coming to the end of their production of Catholic School Girls, which will run through June 18. Casey Kurtti's comedy is about four girls growing up in Catholic schools from 1962 to 1970. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.

Now is also the time to sign your kids up for the Carrollwood Players Theater for Young People's Summer Camp 2005. Classes will be for children ages 8 to 12, and will include topics such as theater games, monologues and improvisation, and will end in a stage production for friends and family members. Classes will be offered in two sessions, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., from July 11 to 15 and July 18 to 22. The cost is $200 per week or $350 for both sessions. Call (813) 786-6305.

All events will take place at the Carrollwood Playhouse, 4333 Gunn Highway. Call (813) 265-4000.
