TAMPA - An argument between two men ended Tuesday with one man recovering from a stab wound and the other jailed on a charge of attempted murder involving a steak knife.

Belma Jerome Honeycutt, 42, of 13620 N 22nd St., Apt. B, in north Tampa was arrested Tuesday evening and charged with one count of attempted murder, according to jail records.

Hillsborough County sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said Honeycutt and Trent Johnson of 3911-A E Chelsea St. in east Tampa got into an argument at Honeycutt's apartment.

Honeycutt pulled out a steak knife and stabbed Johnson, 46, in the chest, Carter said.

Johnson underwent surgery at Tampa General Hospital, Carter said. Honeycutt was being held in county jail without bail.
