ANIMAL KENNEL: Creature Comforts , a boarding kennel and grooming salon, has opened at 13430 Thonotosassa Road, Dover. The kennel caters to dogs that may not thrive in a busy environment by giving individualized attention and care. Grooming services include spa baths, coat conditioning, nail trims and ear cleaning. The groomer will also work on cats. Operating hours are 8:30 a.m. to noon and 2 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Call 986-0600.

FIREARM SUPPLIES: Patriot Arms, retailer of firearms, hunting and outfitting supplies, has relocated to 221 E Brandon Blvd. Store hours are the same, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The store is closed on Sunday and Monday. Call 651-2767.

BANKING NEEDS: A new bank has made its way to Brandon. Pilot Bank , formerly known as Terrace Bank, has opened at 668 Oakfield Drive. The sixth branch of a small organization based in Temple Terrace, Pilot Bank offers all traditional banking services, loans and a Pilot Puppy program for children wanting to open accounts. Lobby hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. The drive-through is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Call 496-2630.

NEW STEAKHOUSE: Cody's Original Roadhouse has opened at 1414 W Brandon Blvd. where Crabby Tom's used to be, next to the Waffle House. The restaurant specializes in steaks, serves all-American beef and is most known for its signature Cody's Roadhouse salad. Prices range from $7.99 for sandwiches to $24.99 for a 24 oz. T-bone steak. Restaurant hours are 3:30 to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. Call 661-1444.

BUFFET RESTAURANT: Morrison's Buffet and Grill recently opened at 509 E Brandon Blvd. Specializing in homestyle Southern cooking, it offers steak, ribs, shrimp and catfish on its dinner menu. Lunch is $6.99 for adults, $4.99 for children. Dinner is $8.99 for adults, $5.99 for children. Seniors get a discount. Call 651-3200.
