Times Outdoors Editor honored

St. Petersburg Times Outdoors Editor Terry Tomalin won two awards at the Outdoors Writers Association of America's annual conference June 19. Tomalin took first in the Family Participation/Youth Outdoor Education contest with his story "Kids, Camping and Chaos," which ran March 19, 2004. He also placed third in the Sportsman's Boating Safety contest for "Local Knowledge," which ran April 13-14, 2004.
