APPLIANCE CENTER: Famous Tate & Bedding Centers opened a new showroom June 1 at 1015 E Brandon Blvd. The retailer is the 30th largest appliance and mattress supplier in the country and has seven other stores in the bay area. Store hours are 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Call 684-6860.

NEW BANK: AmSouth Bank recently opened a branch at 11231 Bloomingdale Ave. in Riverview. The Winthrop location offers traditional banking services in the new colonial village. Lobby hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday. Drive-through hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday. Call 643-4578.
