ST. PETERSBURG - A dark colored sport utility vehicle dropped off two shooting victims at Bayfront Medical Center late Wednesday and one of the victims was later pronounced dead, police said.

Detectives had few details about the shooting and were waiting for the other man to come out of surgery for questioning. The driver of the SUV did not stick around after arriving at the hospital about 11:43 p.m.

The man who died was identified as Andre Lewis Carnegie, 20. The other man is Bryan Joel Serrano-Ortiz, 18. Both men are from Tampa, police said, but the shootings are believed to have taken place in St. Petersburg.

Police ask anyone with information to call Detective Gary Gibson at 893-7512 or 893-7164.
