3 golf carts stolen from course

By Times Staff Writer

NEW PORT RICHEY - Employees at River Ridge Golf Club at 7511 Bloomingdale Drive discovered three golf carts, valued at about $5,300 each, missing from the property Thursday.

Robbers cut the chain-link fence and took five golf carts from the club's maintenance area, deputies said. Management later found two of those carts about 20 yards away. Tire tracks in the grass marked the getaway of at least two carts via Decubellis Road, deputies said.

There were no suspects Friday.
