HUDSON - Deputies arrested 23-year-old Jennifer Monique Pennington early Friday at Hudson Beach on a charge of possession of marijuana with the intent to sell when she opened her purse to reveal 10 plastic bags of the drug and a large folding knife, according to reports.

Deputies said they saw Pennington of 2114 Pamela Drive, Holiday, as well as two men, lying on top of picnic tables in the park area of the beach about two hours after its official closing, they said.

When deputies asked Pennington for identification, she opened her purse, revealing the plastic bags and knife, the report said.

"It's only 10 dime bags," deputies reported Pennington said to them. "It's going to be legal one day."
