County surveys public about operations

By Times Staff Writer
Published July 13, 2005

CLEARWATER - Some visitors to Pinellas County government facilities in downtown Clearwater this week are being asked to complete a survey for the county's General Services Department.

The survey is designed to help county officials tailor government services and facilities to residents' needs and determine the level of satisfaction that current buildings and programs provide. Questions include whether residents would prefer to have all county departments consolidated in a more central location.

Volunteers with county identification badges will canvass the County Courthouse and judicial wing, 315 Court St.; Old Courthouse, 324 S Fort Harrison Ave.; Courthouse Annex, 400 S Fort Harrison Ave.; Public Works, 440 Court St.; Pinellas 18/Communications Department, 333 Chestnut St.; Development Review Services, 310 Court St.; and Pinellas County Utilities, 14 S Fort Harrison Ave.

For more information, call the Economic Development Department at (727) 464-7332.
