FIDDLER ENDS RUN: Stage Door Performing Arts presents Fiddler on the Roof at 8 tonight and Saturday at Limona Village Chapel United Methodist Church, 408 Limona Road, Brandon. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and free for children ages 5 and under. Call 677-8045.

SUNDAY

AUDITIONS: The Village Players Community Theatre will hold auditions this week for Steel Magnolias. The cast consists of five women. The production also needs a stage manager, sound and lighting help, costume consultants and extra stage hands. Actors should arrive prepared with a two- to three-minute monologue; cold script readings will follow. Auditions start at 7 tonight, Monday, and Wednesday at the James McCabe Theatre, 506 Fifth St., Valrico. Call 685-1664 after 2:30 p.m.

LIVE BLUES: Molten Mike, known to Buccaneer fans for pregame blues shows, will perform and discuss blues history in a free concert starting at 7 p.m. at the Brandon Regional Library, 619 Vonderburg Drive, Brandon. Call 744-5630.

HEY, BIG SPENDER: Sweet Charity, Riverview Little Theatre's summer musical, with throwback hits such as If They Could See Me Now and Big Spender, opens at 7:30 tonight, Friday and Saturday at Riverview High School, 11311 Boyette Road, Riverview, about a mile east of U.S. 301. Tickets cost $6 for students, seniors, and all advance sales; $8 for advance sales and $10 at the door. Call 671-5011, ext. 259.

FRIDAY

OPEN MUSIC MIC: Final Friday Coffeehouse, held from 8 to 11 p.m. the last Friday of each month, allows Brandon-area singer-songwriters to perform for audiences that appreciate Americana, folk, alt-country.
