THE ACT COLLEGE ASSESSMENT EXAM will be administered at the following dates and locations. Registration is $29, with an $18 fee for late registration. To register, visit www.act.org or call 319 337-1270.

HILLSBOROUGH HIGH: Sept. 24, Oct. 22, Dec. 10, Feb. 11, April 8, June 10

JEFFERSON HIGH: April 8

MIDDLETON HIGH: Oct. 22, Dec. 10, April 8, June 10

PLANT HIGH: Sept. 24, Oct. 22, Dec. 10, Feb. 11, April 8

ROBINSON HIGH: Dec. 10, April 8

USF: Sept. 24, Oct. 22, Dec. 10, Feb. 11, April 8, June 10

REGISTRATION FOR THE SAT EXAM will be on the following dates. The cost is $41.50, with an additional $20 fee for late registration. To register, visit www.sat.org or register by mail by picking up a registration packet from a school guidance counselor. Test locations haven't been announced yet.

Register by:

Sept. 7 for the test Oct. 8.

Sept. 30 for the test Nov. 5.

Oct. 28 for the test Dec. 3.

Dec. 22 for the test Jan. 28.

Feb. 24 for the test April 1.

April 3 for the test May 6.

April 28 for the test June 3.

THE FCAT EXAM will be administered on the following dates:

- The fall FCAT Reading and Mathematics retakes will be Sept. 26-30 or Oct. 3-7.

- The FCAT Writing and FCAT Writing and Field Test will be Feb. 8 and 9.

- The FCAT Reading, Mathematics and Science SSS Tests will be Feb. 27-March 10.

- The summer FCAT Reading and Mathematics retakes will be June 19-23.
